Yes, please, it's hideous and game breaking. "Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

Oh, and since we're on the subject, give us an option to disable the thrice goddammed action wheel. "Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

Just showing you what it's like when you make a perfectly reasonable post and someone replies with non-sense. Not at all saying that's what you do though, nope...
Please try to keep things within their specific thread, first of all.
Secondly discussing design philosophy is an entirely different boat from UI changes. Collating the two literally could not be more of a category error. "Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

Because I am a fair man, I have been trying to give this a second chance, etc, etc, for the last two hours or so.
And now I will not be logging in until this "feature" is removed. Yes, it's really that bad.
While I recognize that someone somewhere probably worked hard on this, it is simply awful, and it needs to be disabled for the time being, ultimately made to be 100% optional. "Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."

We need to ramp up on the official thread, they're ignoring feedback at this point, looks they're digging their heels in.

Lisa Gentilette wrote:Autong Jalar wrote:As i haven't seen a fix or change related to the new tool tips in the last few days, I will add my thoughts to help further the fix.
As exploration is my primary isk generating activity, it is now also the most painful activity. I can no longer hover over a floating can with my mouse ready to click on it because a huge useless none floating with the can pop-up appears. This adds multiple steps to retrieving items from data and relic sites.
The current solution of move mouse, click in space, wait for pop-up to close, hover over next can, move mouse, click in space, wait for pop-up to close, hover over next can.... times the number of cans has pretty much removed the best EVE experience for me, exploration.
Other than that, i will probably get over the other issues i have with them, but, if you could add a delay to the pop-up, that would be great too, like maybe up to a one hour delay.
Thanks for taking the time regarding my concern. The current tooltips are bad, no doubt about that. What you "explorers" all have been missing is that the scatter crap is going away in 2 weeks or so.
And what you seem to be missing is that it's indicative of just how little thought was put into the entirety of these changes, if they can break an entire game mechanic without realizing it, only to go "whoops".
It shows in plenty of places besides just ruining any attempts at exploration for the next two weeks. That's just the most obvious one. "Verily, I have often laughed at the weaklings who thought themselves good because they had no claws."
